With joining the WGU organization came a ton of learning to do with not only processes but people and historical context. It huge to have a leader the is very adept at building and maintaining relationships across the university. Erik does a fantastic job at demonstrating trust in those he leads. He also does a tremendous job at managing a situation where communication with executive leadership is required. I count myself lucky to have had a chance to learn directly from Erik and know that he will be successful in whatever he takes on.

Erik is a man of dignity and honor. For as long as I have know Erik, he has been a true friend, mentor and motivator to achieve my dreams. Erik take the time to know who you are at a fundamental level and then take the time to remember you in all future encounters. His genuine character highlights his desire to give. I'be seen this determination to give through his involvement on school government, on both local and national levels of Sigma Phi Epsilon and his assistance in our joint research project.
