I met Eric while managing physician operations at a large integrated physician group. In that role, I was approached by new sales reps every day, and Eric was my go-to. Eric has the basics down pat. He knows the local market, clients, providers, contract terms, etc. And, he has all the personality traits that good sales reps have - promptness, confidence, friendly with good listening skills. The thing that sets Eric apart is that he was a true partner. He rolled up his sleeves to solve problems in new ways. He was relentless, in a totally non-obtrusive way. And, he has an uncanny sense of self-awareness, knowing when to press in and when to step back. Even after leaving my role, I've kept in touch with Eric. He's a wealth of knowledge and connections. I was fortunate to answer the phone just over 10 years ago to find Eric asking if he could help with our ICU staffing. It was the right time….but more importantly the right person. He conveyed a spirit of genuineness and desire to truly partner with us to take care of our patients that has not wavered. We’ve both evolved in our organizations since then, but Eric remains a trusted advisor to me and has helped me navigate some challenging situations. What I find the most impressive is the relationships he has with the team at J+C. He always promotes their abilities and professionalism and I hear the same sentiment of respect from the specialty recruiters.
