In my time knowing Eric, he has always been a friendly face on campus and makes an effort to put students first in his work. As the Residence Life Coordinator, he was responsible for building a strong team of student leaders that were well known across all the campus. Eric’s efforts to build a collaborative programming model were very apparent and welcomed in the community. It wasn't until we started working together when his role shifted to Assistant Director of Student Success Programming that I was able to see his work ethic first hand. In his current role, Eric has been the glue that keeps the Division of Student Success together. He is diligent in making sure that the entire division meets their deadlines, keeps all meetings up-to-date, and works to make redundant processes seamless. He is a pleasure to work with and a great asset to the team.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Eric for 4 years now. He was my boss when I was a Resident Assistant and now we are Co-Workers and probably the best dynamic duo. Eric without a doubt goes above and beyond for his students. Within his First year at NDNU Eric created an impeccable warm community. He wasted no time in getting to know his students and assess the environment. Because of that he had a close connection with the residents on campus and people knew he's a trustworthy person to go to. Whether he's in his office working or in the cafeteria after-hours playing board games with students he made sure to make his presence known. Eric has strong leadership skills and is ALWAYS eager to learn more. He is in constant "go getter" mode and always makes sure to include his peers or asks for feedback. As a student, I knew that Eric was there for me. As a professional, it has been an honor to work by his side. His creativity, personality, leadership skills, and charisma make my job feel less of a job and more enjoyable. He listens and tries to understand what one is speaking about regardless of his own opinions. He always tries to have a backup plan and see all aspects of a situation. It is with great honor to recommend Eric. Anyone would be lucky to have Eric on their team. He has an amazing bright future ahead of him.
