As a graduation assignment for my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration I had the opportunity to research the aftersales market of spare parts for Marel Further Processing.This assignment required me to approach other organisations and try to learn from their method of selling spare parts and reflect this on Marel. During this time I developed a method in calculating market potential of spare parts using company data and identified numerous variables that influence spare parts sales. This led to a method in how to measure and monitor performance in spare parts sales and translated what a proactive approach could provide the organisation in terms of (reoccurring) revenue, data and great customer benefits through OEM aftersales of spare parts and service. From the age of 16 I have been actively working in the Angling and Watersports industry as an entrepreneur helping other companies in gaining ground in the Dutch and international Angling and Watersports market. This all started when I produced my own angling products and started sharing my custommade products to other angling enthusiasts. After a while I started making a name for myself in the predatory angling industry and was promoting and presenting my products at exhibitions within the Netherlands. This even led to several partnerships and existing brands approaching me for advice or a honest opinion. Since I always have had an interest in entrepreneurship, I started my own webstore and continued to produce my own products. I expanded my productrange with other existing angling brands that I fully support. After some time I had taken more responsibilities and my interest grew in the other working activities of the restaurant. Working here has made me stress proof and that I can easily switch between different working activities.
