Eric is the definition of a star! In my time at Ramapo, I have seen Eric excel in his role as the Assistant Director of Student Activities. On a day to day, Eric manages various staffs within the Center for Student Involvement at Ramapo College like Roadrunner Central and the Student Activities Revenue Management Office. I know him to be very active with his staff; scheduling one on ones, monthly staff meetings and actively invested in the personal development of his staff members. He also works closely with clubs and organizations on campus in training, implementing policies and procedures, updates through monthly president’s meetings, budgeting, check-ins with each club/organization tailored to their needs, allocation of monies, and much more. I have not had the pleasure of working directly under Eric, but he oversaw my role as the Student Government Association Treasurer. In the two years that I served in the role; Eric made sure I was equipped with the right tools to excel. He scheduled bi-weekly meetings with me to check in and aid me with assistance in big college wide programming. Not only that, but he was also willing to help me in my personal and professional development by expanding my network and encouraging more involvement within the college. As a senior no longer in a role Eric oversees, he goes out of his way to schedule bi-weekly meetings with me and is still invested in my future. He is a mentor to me and many others at Ramapo College. His attentiveness to the student body and drive for the success of others on campus never goes unnoticed as he has been awarded various awards across campus. I will highly recommend Eric for any position, project or initiative.

In the two and a half years that I worked directly under Eric, I found him to be a great supervisor who was not only interested in getting things done but also in his student staff's professional growth. I remember having multiple appointments to talk about the skills I wanted to work on and how we could incorporate responsibilities at the job to help me achieve it - as a student that was extremely valuable for me. Eric was always open to help students who came to him for help/advise related to student organization budgets, events and even student life in general. That is probably why students connected with him so well.

With the assistance of the Executive Director I researched significantly important historic events and people that lived in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown. Using my research, I crafted a 2 hour walking tour, TarryHollow: A Walk Through Time. On this tour, I guide up to 25 individuals through Tarrytown while sharing all this information through exciting storytelling that transports individuals into the past. I have updated this tour to include new stops and facts. It is consistently sold out during the Halloween season.
