Sofar Sounds is a global network of concerts in intimate spaces running in over 400 cities. As Auckland team leader I manage a group of volunteers and organise each event. As well as booking and liaising with local and international artists, I am responsible for reporting to the global team to ensure we uphold and meet requirements. I helped to coordinate and was the backstage manager for their NZ Music month event 20 Bands in 2 hours. The role also involved conducting interviews, writing reviews, news items and features. I also assisted with backend website management on wordpress, utilising SEO and using basic html. I worked to update old articles and upload back issues to the website.
