  I educate individuals/students in the Vocational Education Sector, specialising in Diploma in Business, Diploma in Business Admin, Diploma in Management/Leadership and my passion - Accounting. Within this scope, the processes of Business, Leadership, Bookkeeping, using MYOB and other software applications (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher), Synergetic Management Systems, Salesforce, Moodle, Blackboard, Databuild Construction Industry software) enhancing their business acumen. My teaching method is a hands on approach, where I conduct workshops, activities, webinars and on some occasions excursions to demonstrate the reality of business. As an educator, I have a responsibility to prepare my students for jobs of the future. To achieve this, I need to build a collaborative link between education and jobs. In order for my students to be successful, they need necessary skills, e.g • Sense-making • Social intelligence • Virtual collaboration (to name a few) The student demographic I taught came from economically disadvantaged backgrounds /second chance learners, some with mental health issues and most having low self-esteem. I invest a considerable amount of time with all my students, ensuring they receive the most up to date current industry information. This ensures they have an equal opportunity for their prospective employment. To coach, nurture and mentor these individuals from the commencement of their qualification, through the struggle of their learning capability, to their final success of graduation, is an absolute joy. To watch these students blossom and grow with confidence is inspiring. This is what motivates me. I feel privileged to have been part of their learning journey.
