  Over school breaks I help with the care of the horses in the equine department. This involves exercising, grooming, turnout, and wound care. All the basics of horse care are involved in this job, I could be taking care of as many as 17 horses all at once. Learned to be time effective and responsible with the horses well being.   Took care of the coach driving team, retired horses, and saddlebred yearlings. My day to day chores consisted of cleaning stalls, feeding, grooming, tacking up, cleaning tack and barn, turning horses out, administration of general medications and wound care.
