  I was working on 8W2 Neurosciences ward which also covers ENT and Opthalmology departments. Being a major referral hospital, I've managed many complex patients such such as patients undergoing high-risk ENT procedures, high-risk neurosurgical procedures, stroke patients who have undergone thrombolysis or endovascular clot retrievals, and video EEG study patients. During my first rotation, I worked on RPA's dedicated transplant ward, 9 East. The patients consisted of mostly high-acuity post-operative renal and liver transplant patients, as well as transplant patients that become acutely ill or begin to reject their transplants. During this rotation, I also attended a brief 2-month secondment to the COVID-19 medicine ward where I managed patients on high flow oxygen therapies and assisted in team-leading duties such as staffing a bed-management.
