I completed FEED studies for new meter stations and inlet stations for the Dampier to Bunbury Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) in my time at DBP. As part of the operations, I was involved in the pipeline modelling activities using Flowtran and also regular reporting activities for the day-to-day operations of the asset. I also took part in initiatives to reduce carbon emissions such as waste heat recovery in compressor stations. My responsibilities were to assist in development of engineering drawings such as PFD's, P&ID's. I had exposure to interdisciplinary checks such as general arrangements, isometrics, cause and effect diagrams, hazardous area drawings. Process calculations such as pressure loss, control valves and pressure vessel sizing. A significant portion of my time was spent on process simulation using HYSYS, Flarenet and Pipesim.
