I worked with Eric for five years starting in 2014, at EKOS Corporation (now Boston Scientific), where he directly reported to me for two of those years, as a Senior Product Development Engineer. Eric was always pushing our technical capabilities in innovative ways to improve knowledge and results, while adhering to our high quality standards. He was a key team member who worked exceptionally well with his immediate team and other departments. While on my team, Eric supported many types of projects, including R&D, sustaining, and manufacturing, delivering tasks complete and on time. He was the key technical leader on an important automation project, working very well with outside vendors to deliver significant savings. His application of creative ideas and instrumentation, provided important contributions to our device testing capabilities and greatly improved our accuracy and repeatability in critical areas. While on my team, Eric quickly became familiar with medical device design and manufacturing methodologies. He was routinely sought out by team members for his critical thinking and analysis skills. He is a talented engineer and is able to learn and adapt knowledge quickly to deliver both individual and team goals. I highly recommend Eric and he would a valuable asset to any company.

After working with Eric for 6 years at EKOS/Boston Scientific I highly recommend him for any role in R&D, especially med device, though his skills and aptitude for learning new things on the fly are so strong he will thrive in any engineering role. Eric routinely took the role of EE working on ultrasound devices and systems while covering the mechanical portion as his primary role. Eric thrived in the exploratory engineering role prototyping the future designs and manufacturing processes in a dramatic leap in technology to achieve large reductions in touch time and piece part expense. Eric also took on managerial roles in my time working with him and excelled at building trust on his team and supporting their career growth.
