Thomas Making
In my position as VP of Canada, I had the pleasure to partner with Eric in developing a pricing strategy that would drive sales, margin and control inventory. Eric's grasp of these three areas was exceptional. He worked directly with the District Managers and myself in partnership to help everyone understand how balancing all three would drive dollars to the bottom line. He also worked with the District Managers putting together a promotional program to ensure we maintained a competitive image in Canada.Eric and his group developed spread sheets to track results, allowing us to adjust as we move forward. His outstanding contributions were indeed a major part of the financial success of Canada. With his knowledge and understanding of how pricing strategies do contribute to the financial growth of any organization, he would be an amazing asset to any company. He was also very well respected by his peers and upper management. Tom Making. Canadian President ( Retired 😀) Phone # 709-330-0082
Mahan Construction
Eric's impressive ability to take his past education and work experiences and apply them to an unfamiliar field for him in a short period of time demonstrated his adaptability and transferability of skills. He performed account reconciliation for accounts payable and receivable for multiple clients who had very different projects. As a result of an internal audit let by Eric, Mahan Construction, Inc. implemented process improvements that improved the billing process, reduced administrative expenses, and increased cash flow. Eric was able to maintain empathy, tact, and humor while communicating both internally with company team members as well as externally with clients, vendors, and bond assurance personnel. His use of strong analytical problem solving skills helped Mahan Construction, Inc. create processes that better serve the client and the company. Eric is also a pleasure to work with because of his pleasant and positive attitude.
