Mama Meals was founded by my wife Holly. Together we've been passionate about nutrition for over a decade. After our first child she didn't feel great postpartum. Everything was a struggle. Before baby #2 she did tons of research on how our ancestors approached the 4th trimester and what they ate. We prepped and froze 60 warm, soft, easy-to-digest meals based on traditional principles from Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and Weston A. Price, to have ready after the birth. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN BOTH OF OUR LIVES. She felt 100x better and I didn't have to cook! After prepping food for a few of her friends she started Mama Meals to nourish our most precious and vulnerable people, new Mamas. My role as chief papa was to build a food manufacturing business from scratch. Production, inventory management, distribution, costing spreadsheets, customer service, website copy, accounting, etc. You name it, I've done it. Now we're shipping nutrient-dense meals nationwide to Mamas who need it. Show less

Managed all recruiting, onboarding, and training while automating the process. Increased revenue by 77% month three, almost 500% year one. Grew sales team from 4 to 12. Rewrote all sales scripts (voicemails, appointment setting, demo, etc). Lead daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings. The reps I trained broke company records because I focused on emotional competence first.

Full-cycle SaaS sales executive (prospecting, appointment setting, closing). Built a referral-only book of business and became the top performer across 10 seasoned reps within three months. Won a trip to Costa Rica for being top performer. Consistently 180-200% plan.

To be fair, my wife gave me the CMO title (it’s her company). She created an online course to train newbie wedding planners. I created the entire sales funnel and email drip sequence that converted cold leads at ~3%. And when I say cold, I mean frigid. We pulled them from Yelp and put them in a drip sequence without their permission. I spent weeks absorbing online education on email marketing and copywriting. Email marketing is still very intriguing to me. To be fair, my wife gave me the CMO title (it’s her company). She created an online course to train newbie wedding planners. Coast-to-coast shipping and logistics company with a strong LH and LTL foundation. Hired as a payroll clerk and promoted to manager first year. Championed a full audit/overhaul of the payroll process, saving between $60-100k/year in waste. Managed 15+ employees in multiple locations and departments, oversaw day-to-day AR/AP, cut all company checks, and reported directly to the CEO and controller.
