  22 years of experience with commercial and residential plumbing. 12 years utility plumbing, asset maintenance and reliability, and use of electronic systems. Performs activities related to water and wastewater system maintenance. • Check water quality by flushing and sampling. • Repair and replacement of water mains, water services lines, water meters, fire hydrants, and backflow devices. • Clean and repair sewer mains, laterals, cleanouts, manholes, and lift stations. Responds to Service Orders. • Locate water and wastewater lines. • Respond to emergency calls for water leaks on a variety of assets. • Reads and interprets technical and operational documents, manuals, blueprints, system maps, construction specs & standards and diagrams as well as GIS system maps. •Experienced with equipment for operations to include; excavator, backhoe, forklift, skid steer, Vac-Truck, CCTV. • Leads two crews for daily, and one on-call operations. • Reviews time entries to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Ensures all jobs are preformed to the ASUS standards for safety and success. •Dispatches Technicians to calls that are suited to their strengths and knowledge. •Educates new and current employees such as daily task, for new hires. • NC A Distribution • OSHA 30 Trained • NC Backflow License • CPR Certified • NC Grade 3 Collections • Fork Lift Certified Show less
