I established this company in 2001 as a means to do freelance work (formerly named A2M Interactive, Inc.) and operated it as a division of Caxiam Group from 2005 to 2013. As I watched the digital marketing landscape change, I knew as an agency owner I needed to stay ahead of the curve. As I watched the digital marketing landscape change, I knew as an agency owner I needed to stay ahead of the curve. In early 2013, my small team (and our clients) left the umbrella of Caxiam Group, and the brand of ProtoFuse was officially born. We narrowed our services to focus on conversion-focused websites, inbound marketing, and website consulting. From 2013 to 2017, we serviced a variety of verticals, both in B2B and B2C markets. We wandered through the world of broad and non-specific positioning (both horizontal and vertical). We did some great work for numerous companies, but our work for B2B Companies in the Technology space seemed to draw the most attention. Those clients experienced groundbreaking revenue growth and cost-savings after hiring us. And we genuinely liked working for them. No brainer, right? After some lengthy discussions with agency positioning experts, we made the bold move to re-position ProtoFuse towards the end of 2017. We now focus exclusively on finding and serving mid-sized B2B Technology companies and helping them with their Digital Marketing needs. Everything we do week to week is driven by the goal to become the best digital marketing expert for mid-sized B2B companies with a technology product or service. Co-Founded this agency in a small townhome with a childhood friend and grew it steadily into a company of 10+ salaried employees, profitability (some years leaner than others), and serviced over 75 customers (well) from 2005 to 2010. From its inception, Caxiam Group was always two separate divisions behind the scenes. The division I ran focused on building conversion-focused websites with inbound marketing. The division had its own clients, team, processes & marketing methodology. I was awarded a 3 month internship program right after High School at a local forging company. I shadowed the Engineering department, helping adjust and plan CAD drawings for over 50 unique parts being shipped throughout the US. The internship, along with my first semester at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, was enough exposure to the Engineering field for me to realize my pursuit wasn't backed by passion and I needed to shift my educational focus.
