Replied to RFI’s and reviewed and approved change orders on projects during the construction phase. • Designed a series of engineering programs in MS Excel (concrete beam, masonry walls, structural steel, cold formed steel framing), which I have been able to expand on. RESULTS: Simplified and sped up designs for commercial projects. • Devised a solution to use saddle joists, to create 4ft soffits, which transfers the forces caused by the cantilever effect to pass through the masonry wall in lieu of designing the wall to support moment forces. RESULTS: Awarded the Season’s 52 account, by the VP of Engineering, to design all of the new Season’s 52 restaurants. Show less Structural design of light commercial buildings for new construction.
