  I have recently returned to patrol after working 7 years as a gang detective. I worked graffiti investigations, gang suppression, gang assaults and assisted with homicide investigations.In the GRIP Program i was working with kids and families to keep them out of gangs and in school. Occasionally putting a few bad guys in jail and saving the lives of some kids. I have also increased my skills as a motivational speaker.I am a POST certified instructor and have experience in gang enforcement, narcotic enforcement and have taught classes in graffiti investigation. I am currently a police explorer advisor and have worked in training explorers at explorer academies and have supervised tactical officers for explorer academies.I am currently the president of the California Graffiti Task Force. A networking group for law enforcement officers and investigators engaging in graffiti enforcement and abatement. Show less
