      Eric founded and has led the firm's design work for most of the Northwest’s leading public institutions, including K-12, universities, transportation, and regional cities and counties. Eric formulated the firm’s consensus design approach that has facilitated several hundred complex design projects. His design work has received national honors from Progressive Architecture, the American Solar Industries Council, and national publications for technological innovation and design excellence. Eric started his design career with a flourish, winning in the firm’s first year the design competition for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Seattle Offices.
