Rick Meier

Working with Eric is a true pleasure daily. He has the ability to take on any job asked, do it to perfection with a smile. He also takes the inititative to create new ways to service the customer, help directly with sales campaigns, and to make sure that all the little things are done. Eric will develop into a sales rep and sales manager with the ability to coach anyone due to his ability relate, motivate, and drive people with a team approach. I would hire Eric to run my sales office and trust that the customers are in great hands.

Comprised of more than 15 well-known brands, Implus LLC is a leading manufacturer of footwear and athletic accessories. Brought onboard with the acquisition of DryGuy LLC, I took on the role of Marketing Manager to oversee the brand’s transition and overall marketing efforts for DryGuy along with five other brands including; Yaktrax, ICEtrekkers, MaxxDry, Little Hotties, & STABIL Gear. Some of my primary duties for each of these brands include: • Writing copy for packaging, catalogs, websites, & advertisements • Coordinating events and trade shows, along with event promotions • Managing all brand related communications and projects • Buying advertising space at both trade and consumer level Since arriving at Implus I’ve overseen more than 600% growth in social media reach, representing more than 70% Share of Voice within my brands’ niche sub-industries. I’ve established KPI standards to maximize marketing ROI, which has translated to higher overall revenues at an average of 10- 15% growth every year. I’ve helped bring to life multiple new products from concept to store shelves, and revitalized a library of marketing assets with fresh and creative content.

Until it was acquired by Implus LLC in 2014, DryGuy LLC was a leading manufacturer of shoe dryers and other footwear accessories. Originally hired to process orders and oversee customer service for both retailers and consumers, my role quickly grew to encompass all aspects of the business as I’d proven myself a useful assistant to the President of the company. By the end, my duties included assisting various department heads with; office administration, marketing, logistics, sourcing, accounting, and sales, as well as personally managing our e-commerce retail accounts, like Amazon.com.

I took a job at this local pizzeria immediately after graduating from college to have money while in pursuit of more professional employment. After finding said professional employment with DryGuy LLC, I decided to continue working for Pagliacci a few nights a week simply because I really enjoy it. As a cook I entertained crowds of guests by throwing and spinning pizza dough behind a glass display near the front host station. My extensive knowledge of the menu, and ability to communicate well gave me the opportunity to become a server. Before I left in September 2011 I was serving and cooking, both of which required me to engage customers and provide a high level of service and entertainment. My reason for leaving was to focus on my responsibilities with DryGuy LLC.
