Self-motivated: I instructed and mentored Eric through a rigorous cybersecurity course offered by Michigan State University. Eric stood out to me from day one. He had already achieved the certification offered in the program. He had already been working in the industry for a few years. I know so many in our field of cybersecurity who become burned out after cycling through constant certificate upgrades/maintenance, analyst fatigue, and job rotation.
