Sales Manager- Industrial Woven Wire
-
Apr 2021 - Present
I was hired to run the Industrial Woven Wire and Register Sales Divisions for North America and surrounding countries. This position was also created to help restructure the sales department within W.S. Tyler. Part of my job was to not only keep and grow the current book of business but to help build out sales strategies, and content marketing projects to target potential customers. • Help define and break down 3 different sales divisions. • Create an outbound approach on how to reach customers. • Deal with multiple global partners on getting material, and navigating worldwide shipping problems. Hired to take over a struggling book of business and grow it in different territories. Needed to engage and create ways to bring in and reactivate new and old accounts. • During a global pandemic I was able to not only hit but exceed all sales expectations during my time with State Industrial. • Named in the company's highlight at the end of year for sales numbers and growth. • Led the department in key KPIs. I was hired to take over a small volume store and turn the numbers around. I had to hire a new team and train them on products and procedures we had in place. This is where I learned how to read and analyze P&L reports. Also responsible for taking company goals, breaking them down for my team with plans on how to achieve the goals. After turning around my first store, I was promoted to running and turning around multiple stores at the same time. • Took 3 low performing stores (bottom 200 in the company) and turned them into top 25 stores with a company who had over 2,000 stores. • All 3 stores finished multiple months in the top 5% of closing rate. • 6 Former employees took over stores and made them successful. • P&L reports showed growth not only year over year but month over month.
