Cork City Womens FC play in the Womens National League in Ireland. The club was formed in 2011/12 and have been ever present since. Cobh Ramblers launched an U17 team to compete in the newly established Airtricity Under 17 League Of Ireland. This league gives young players a chance to play at an elite level and to experience football to the highest standard in Ireland. I was involved as part of the coaching staff with Cobh Ramblers and our goal was to develop players to go on and have a career in football. After spending a season coaching Cobh Ramblers U17s, I spent the following season working with Cobh Ramblers U19s who compete in the U19 League of Ireland. We had a number of players make the step up from U17 to U19, which was great progression for them. The greatest achievement that I had with the U19s was to see a handful of our players go on to play for the Cobh Ramblers senior team, and play in the senior League of Ireland Division 1. Show less

The Cork Youths League Academy was established in 2012 for players between 17-19 years. The Academy creates an environment where players will become active learners, allowing them ownership of their problem solving and decision making process. I spent time coaching with the Academy, and in March 2015 we took 18 players over to Championship club Huddersfield Town FC for a week long trial, playing Huddersfield Town Academy U17 & U18 teams.
