Eric is an amazing jurist and teacher, a rare combination. Eric has taken our CJ program into the major leagues through his commitment to creating the best program possible. He is deeply committed to students, often caring more about their education than they do. As a colleague, one could not ask for more than Eric: cooperative, open, honest, reliable. Eric is a man of deep convictions and a commitment to justice and truth. He abhors dishonesty, his feedback is invaluable. It is easy to picture Eric as dean some day, given his commitment to his profession as teacher and scholar, his collegiality, his ability to reason, to ponder critically, and to devise practical yet intellectually grounded solutions.
