Managed the efficiency tracking and on-floor maintenance of the Syzygy style molds including, repairs, tool operation, and providing feedback on mold performance and design improvements. Successfully helped install, troubleshoot, and operate the new company stack molds. Improved the yield from 63% up to 89% by implementing and fine-tuning an iMFLUX based process with temperature, pressure, raw material behavior, and closed-loop response improvements. This increased the yield of the 48-cavity tool in number of acceptable parts, dimension consistency, and machine uptime. Verified new press installations  Sumitomo Demag  Fanuc Roboshot  Milacron MPS 500 Lead the implementation of iMFLUX software to run on six 500 ton presses  Oversaw installation and debugging  Adapted conventional injection molding processes to run iMFLUX based processes  Validated and troubleshot new process for repeatability Led tracking on Post-Consumer Resin and its effects on cavitation  Presented findings in monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) meetings Production Floor  Filled in for technical supervisor as required  Assembled, hung, oiled, and watered various company stack molds varying from 24-128 cavities  Performed repairs on molds both in and out of press to regain cavitation.  Troubleshot and recorded processes used to run stack molds for optimizing cavitation and cycle time on 440 and 550 ton Milacron presses. I researched the mechanical properties of poly-ethylene glycol (PEG) crosslinked with poly-ethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA). I produce each sample with stereolithography (SLA), a light based method of 3D printing. Worked to optimize the 3D printing procedure to produce ideal samples. All samples were then tested with Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) in order to determine the optimal storage conditions.
