Work directly with the customer’s IT department to prepare the network infrastructure, including networks, application servers, database servers, database management system, Active Directory, Exchange server and client computers, for the installation and implementation of their ERP system, third-party applications and customizations. Assist with continued administration of the network infrastructure to optimize the performance of the ERP system in the customer’s environment. Provide technical training to IT department to allow the customer to become self-sufficient in management and maintenance of the ERP system.Work directly with Practical Software Solutions’ implementers along with the customer’s management and end-users to design and build customizations using Microsoft development tools, SQL Server development tools, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, the ERP system’s development tools and the ERP system’s SDK to optimize the ERP system for the customer’s business requirements. Document and assist with user training of customizations.Provide support for customer’s technical needs. Supporting the IT infrastructure, customizations and other technical challenges associated with the ERP system and related systems.
