I have been collaborating with stakeholders in the basic, secondary and higher education sector in Ghana to shape education policy and practice. I work closely with the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education. Some of the current research projects I am working on include; -Pre service Teacher Education -Effect of Distance Education on Teaching Time Lost in Basic Schools in Ghana -University education and employability skills development in Ghana. -Teacher Time on Task in basic schools -Graduate Destinations in Ghana -Midterm and Endline Evaluation of Ghana Reads Programme -Saving Groups and Educational Investments in Ghana Some of the past projects are; -Capacity Building of District Education planning and statistical officers on project monitoring, evaluation and reporting. -HIV and AIDS awareness among basic school child in Ghana -The state of Corporal Punishment in Ghanaian Schools -Assessment of Interventions to improve Gender Parity Index in Ghanaian Schools -Access to Basic Education in Ghana -Exploration of School Dropout experience of children Show less
