Primary inventor: Pending Taser X26P design patent D702794, “Single Shot Electronic Control Device.” Co-inventor: Taser X2 design patent D678,452, “Two Cartridge Electronic Control Device.” Designed and interpreted user needs research as part of the market research team. Developed a product architecture strategy based on the user needs data that met both consumer and corporate requirements. Conducted design reviews for Senior Management and the Executive Team. Designed and fabricated test beds for product architecture and component validation. Performed extensive engineering and manufacturing analysis as well as cost and ROI modeling for mechanical systems and design features. Managed off-shore suppliers in Asia and assisted in setting up production facilities, enabling the on-time launch of the Taser X2.
