By layering this data in GIS software or by viewing it in one of our web based platforms, we make it possible to analyze detailed fiber optic maps and other telecom data sets. These integrated datasets are digitized onto the highest quality street data and aerial imagery available, providing companies and government entities with the leverage and insight necessary to make informed location based and fiscally sound decisions. Our highly developed databases encompass millions of miles of Carrier fiber routes from over 605 carriers, more than 300,000 Cell towers and rooftop sites, and over 1,400,000 on-net fiber lit buildings, data centers and central offices across more than 7K U.S. cities. The level of detail and information contained within our maps is unrivaled in the industry. Our maps go further than just showing a metro network path or long-haul network. With more than 600 telecom carriers in the U.S. including RBOC and ILEC data, our fiber optic maps designate individual telecom carriers with several distinct attributes. New and existing businesses can use GeoTel’s fiber lit buildings dataset to locate buildings with fiber connections and to determine which carriers service those buildings. We routinely update datasets, which provides reassurance to companies who need reliable data. With our datasets, users can locate lit, dark, metro or long haul fiber quickly and efficiently. Our products are both feature and attribute rich. Our GIS fiber network maps are geo-referenced and can be layered on digital street maps, digital elevation models, aerial photography and 3D imagery.
