Serve as liaison between regional director for Latin America & Caribbean programs and project staff as well as with operations & administrative services. Provide logistical support to all project activities, including coordination with operations staff on financial and contract management, oversight of accounts payable, processing invoices, identifying technical experts, visa acquisition, and other required technical resources and mobilizing these to the field. S. and Latin America. Designed the Latin America and the Caribbean strategy plan to increase the Institute’s presence in the region by developing wider networks with donors and implementing entities, and promoting partnerships that include private industry, foreign governments, foundations, multilateral agencies, and the Texas A&M System.

Coordinate the execution of International Trainings by overseeing the implementation details of multiple ongoing projects and programs from inception to close, including: securing expert agricultural contractors to deliver project content, managing administrative support staff, and planning complex program logistics for professionals arriving from international destinations. Assist the Office of International Training Programs in the process of researching, designing, and editing responses to specific Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for agricultural programming funded by governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private industry.Coordinate with the Institute's Business and Operations Division the administration of Federal contracts and grants. Monitor annual budgets and financial projections, and analyze and review the application of Federal, State, and University's System-Wide policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of technical reports and respond to donor programmatic inquiries. Serve as a liaison between the Borlaug Institute, Texas A&M University, program donors, and International Training Program participants. Escort participants to Out-of-State and State wide training venue locations. Provide information about Texas Agriculture, Texas A&M AgriLife, Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M System, faculty and facilities, as well as the agencies and private sector entities that are commonly engaged to complete the objectives of the training programs.
