Taking over a non-traditional out of home media channel and making it the new black. By improving the existing client relationships and re-building communications and sales strategy from the ground up, I was able to bring mobile billboards back as one of the top choices for non-traditional out of home media channels. By closely working with top regional companies and top media agencies in Latvia, I was constantly conducting successful and creative advertising campaigns for local and international brands like Rimi Baltic, Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, Barbora, Maxima, Burger King, Tele2 and others.

My work was to set up and launch an e-commerce store to operate in the EU. I started by setting up a clear legal side and by ensuring store product complies with EU regulations. The next milestone was to set up supplier-buyer relationship and at the same time smart warehousing and smooth logistics plan so that primary market customers have safe and quick delivery options and they do not have hassle with customs clearance. Further, I took part in setting up e-commerce store back-end (Shopify) and payment processing integration (Stripe). I also took part in content creation for social media channels together with the creative director. Besides integrating the payment processes, I did a good research in latest e-commerce payment trend such as BNPL (buy now, pay later).

Day-to-day close work with 2 key accounts ensuring each key account’s purchase and delivery forecasts were met. During the COVID-19 when the whole shipping industry was in decline, and when BREXIT took place, I developed close relationships with UK customs authorities and major container shipping lines such as CMA CGM and Samskip to secure 100% success rate in delivering goods for 2 key accounts: B&M (also known as B&M Bargains and the larger B&M Homestore) which is a British variety store chain founded in 1978. B&M revenue was over 4.8 billion GBP in 2021. The Range which is a multi-channel retailer selling products in the home, garden, and leisure categories, with over 180 stores in the United Kingdom & Ireland.

I had the honour to work closely with key accounts such as Amazon, ACE Hardware and The Grommet ensuring each key account's purchase plans were met while at the same time monitored e-commerce sales via Shopify platform. To ensure all that I had to manage both the production process in the Taiwan manufacturing plant and fulfillment process in the US. My role was to drive sales of advertising spaces in the state owned passenger trains all over the Latvia. I was closely working with the biggest media agencies in Latvia – including by working with colleagues to ensure that the design and placement of the adverts met the wishes of the client. During the time at AS Pasažieru Vilciens I developed relationships with new media agencies, attracted new advertisers and developed additional and more attractive advertising spaces in passenger trains.

I had the honour to work closely with high ranking diplomatic officials from all over the world who were speakers of The Rīga Conference. My work was to ensure these high ranking officials had the best and most welcoming experience during The Rīga Conference. Additionally, I had weekly meetings and reporting sessions with Secretary Generals from both Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. Already from 2006 the Latvian Transatlantic Organisation (LATO) together with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia organizes The Rīga Conference which has become a unique venue for constructive dialogue on international security issues between leading global decision makers.
