  GPBuddy.ie is Ireland's online network of medical professionals and services specifically for GPs. We launched in May 2010. As well as the online network of medical professionals, GPBuddy.ie provides high quality CPD accredited educational material on a weekly basis to GPs plus video tutorials on a range of specialist topics. The GPBuddy.ie discussion forum continues to go from strength to strength. Currently over 2500 GP members across the country have viewed or taken part in both clinical and non-clinical discussions on over 4,000 topics. January 2015 we launched "Ask the Expert". Here we have a panel of Consultants at hand to answer questions from our GPs regarding their area of clinical expertise. Our panel of Experts include 40 Consultants covering a variety of medical disciplines. Our latest initiative is the annual GPBuddy National GP Awards which recognise the tireless efforts of those working on the ground to improve the lives of patients all over the country. General Practitioners and healthcare professionals from the recently qualified to the long-established will be recognised for their dedication, commitment and innovative contributions to community based healthcare in Ireland.
