• The business initially did customer service manually – keeping in touch with customers proved difficult. After having interviews with the stakeholders, holding requirements workshops and doing SWOT analysis on the company, I suggested and presented CRM as a solution to the problem. • Did NPV analysis to compare the costs of using outsourced solutions like Salesforce versus developing it in-house. My conclusions favoured the in-house solution. • Helped the Product Owner to order the product backlog by priority. Use cases and functional specifications helped paint a clear picture on the component with the most dependencies, which was the actual database. • The database of contacts were only in Excel. As Excel does not have querying capabilities nor does it support large amounts of data, I used a conversion tool to convert the entire database to MySQL. • Acted as the Scrum Master in the Scrum team, ensuring that the daily Scrum is within the 15 minutes timebox, making sure the Scrum principles were adhered to in and created a plan of action based on what was done right and wrong in each Sprint retrospective. • Worked with the developers to make the system undergo user acceptance testing (UAT) after each Sprint. • The drafting, requirements elicitation and project approval started in September 2012 and ended in the beginning of October 2012. The first useable version was released in November 2012 and was iterated upon ever since. • In addition to the above responsibilities, I was also responsible for meeting sales targets for real estate which I managed to exceed every month. • Technologies used: MySQL, MailChimp, Java, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. • Achieved a 40% increase in productivity while being 20% under-budget.
