  I have worked as an academic (Lecturer) for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology for nine years now. I work in the Faculty of Design and Innovation (Graphic Design, Professional Design and Fine Arts Departments). I served as a Principal Lecturer , and my streams as a Principal Lecturer were as follows: History of Art 1 and 2, Communication Graphics (History of Graphic Design), Design Analysis, Socio-Psychology, Design Heritage, Design Management Principles, Design Cultures and Ideas. I hold a position as a year leader and my portfolio covers all Fashion Design and Textile Design streams. Over the years I have taught Creative and Innovative Studies, History of Art 1 and 2, Contextual Studies, Professional Practice, Communication Graphics (A history of Graphic Design), Introduction to Graphic Design, Graphic Design principles, Drawing, Fundamentals of Design and Design Studies, Typography, Design management principles and Design Heritage. I had the occasion to work as same at Lesotho Campus (Limkokwing university) for a period of one year . I also went for block teaching (Creative and Innovative Studies) in Swaziland Campus, for a period of one year (2011), and thereby have the exposure to different cultures. I also do some part-time jobs in Graphic Designing, since it is my career field. I also look unto projects for the Department of Vocational Education and Training (Quality and Assessment Unit) under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, as an External Verifier and External Moderator in Multimedia for the Botswana Technical Education Programme (BTEP) since 2008.   • To ensure that all unit module outlines are standard, accurate and compatible, ensuring students progress from one level to another smoothly. • To ensure that appropriate learning objectives are met using appropriate measures/projects. • To ensure that assessment and evaluation of work is clear and suitable to the learning objectives. • To actively manage, administer and file (in hard and/or soft copy) all module outlines, lesson plans, lecture notes and handouts. • To monitor if the lecturers who teach within their streams are conducting classes according to the module outlines. • To coordinate and plan before each and every semester, projects and assignments to be given to ensure there will be no overlapping between streams and provides opportunities for integration among streams. • To coordinate projects, taking into consideration annual events, competitions (local and international), Faculty and University Objectives (e.g. forthcoming events and exhibitions). • To liaise with industry experts and ensure that the curriculum is up to date and current with relevant needs of the industry.
