  Additional Duties: • Adjust controls to generate specified electrical power, or to regulate the flow of power. • Perform safe startup / Shutdown, Normal operation and Emergency handling of GT, HRSG and ST and its auxiliaries under safe operating limits and record parameters. • Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers etc. • To ensure that jobs are being performed in a safe way. • Preparation of mandatory procedures of plant. • Communication with NPCC & SNGPL etc. • Assist shift charge engineer in commercial declarations & reports formation. Responsibilities: • Safe and efficient operation of complex and report to shift In-charge in case of any abnormality in the parameters • System Line up, Isolation, normalization & Priming of systems. • Monitoring of all equipment in the assigned areas of field. • Responsible for safe and effective emergency handling and troubleshooting by proper communication with Shift In-charge, CRO. • Assist in safe & smooth start-up of GT, HRSG, ST, gas booster compressor and other BOP System after routine or emergency stoppage & smooth power line up with emergency system. • Coordinate with CRO to diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment. • Safe start-up and shutdown of equipment of the post. Fills out all required checklists. • Raise service request/notifications of defects at plant. • Guide Maintenance department to point out the defects and abnormalities. • Writing shift end book and performs shift handover properly by effective communication of safety, defective equipment, unusual upsets and prevailing plant condition. • Understand OH&S risks / hazards and environmental / legislative aspect / impacts related to work activities. • Discuss with control room operator and shift engineer, measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
