My internship with Ricochet Wearable Art focuses on photography. In April 2014 I photographed the store's San Mateo grand opening and produced photographs used for advertisements on Facebook. I studied product photography to showcase Ricochet's many products, classes and events. In May 2015 I was invited to photograph behind the scene pictures of a professional photographer working in Half Moon Bay. One of my behind the scenes photos was put on sell for $200. The goal of my assignment was to shoot photos inside the offices of Twilio and use Adobe Photoshop to recolor walls and add furniture. I used different colors for example red, blue and white. Although Twilio did not accept any of the new colored walls, my photos prevented the waste of time and money to the company in buying paint and furniture they did not want. This was a contract position from Aerotek providing staffing assistance to Minted.com I worked on approximately eight to twelve holiday greeting cards proof reading text, adjusting photos for better printing and adjusting layout to company standards. The photos gave credit where credit was due. Later on I was given a pdf file of an award certificate and I used Adobe Illustrator to remove the previous names and add new names for now editable use. The last assignment given was selecting art for Call for Solutions promoting sustainable living in Santa Clara. My first volunteer graphic design position in 2013.
