This role supports all IT hardware requirements and ensures users have adequate tools to complete their jobs in a timely and efficient manner. You will troubleshoot IT issues, complete user entered IT tickets, and work on projects to improve our IT security, hardware and systems. Assist in performing hardware and software installation and management. Provide support in diagnosing hardware and software issues and troubleshooting activities Level 1-3. Review reported email from suspected threat response and manage the high volume of potentially malicious email messages reported by users. Assist in support and management of VOIP & networking solutions. Troubleshoot equipment such as printers, scanners, and other peripherals. Participate in the testing, development, and implementation of IT solutions. Assist in supporting and maintaining backup & disaster recovery solutions. Monitor and control various applications/systems. Determine best practices for settings and setup. Maintain appropriate records for IT team and users. Monitor IT Help Desk tickets from on-site & remote users and attempt to assist them with their information technology questions and problems. Act as first level support to the Help Desk for problem resolution. Document all processes in reference manuals for the purpose of training and guidance. Provides users with assistance in understanding the environment (software/hardware and vendor instructions), encourages training where needed, and helps with set up of end user devices and associated software. Mentoring of less experienced team members. Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software. Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
