Armed with stolen credit cards -- and often, hacked customer accounts -- they place fraudulent orders in hopes of getting products for free.The Fraud Management team is charged with pioneering new techniques to detect and neutralize the fraudsters without impacting our legitimate customers.Fraudsters are continuously getting better at disguising themselves, so every engineer is encouraged to innovate and contribute towards our long-term vision.This means building scalable systems which can detect fraud in milliseconds and enable fast and secure money transfer between individuals. We build sophisticated risk models that can detect fraud patterns across millions of transactions for businesses outside of Amazon.My job responsibilities include:• Take appropriate action to identify and help minimize the risk posed by fraud patterns and trends.• Participate in Project Development and Tool Improvement initiatives. • Investigating, auditing and preventing fraudulent transactions on E commerce platform• Preparing weekly staffing reports• Involved in business solutions and implementations strategy.• Communicate with stakeholders to clearly define business requirements.• Analyzing and understanding large amounts of Amazon’s historical operations for identifying specific risk instances and broader risk trends.• Evaluating and optimizing existing and new analytical models for risk management.• Building/optimizing existing and new analytical models for risk detection and life cycle risk management for sellers.• Working closely and providing coordination between the analytics, engineering, and operations teams to drive key process improvements.• Establishing scalable, efficient, repeatable processes for large scale data analyses to support the creation and interpretation of key business metrics.
