  Main role: Investigated the efficiency gains from including a prediction of the control group outcome of a study data. This was achieved by: - Training machine learning models on study data - Performing group-K-fold cross-validation and trying several methods of hyper-parameter optimization to determine the best set of parameters. - Performing model stacking and averaging to improve the predictive accuracy of the models. - Predicting the outcome for all patients in the second but similar study based on the best model, as if they were assigned to the control group - Including this prediction in the primary analysis model of the second study and; - Evaluating the relative performance to the original primary analysis model.
