6 week research project with the Dr David J. Jones research group, synthesising and characterising two novel light harvesting materials with singlet fission properties. Incorporating singlet fission materials into solar cells has the potential to increase their efficiency dramatically due to minimising thermalisation losses and my materials showed promising results for future applications.
