Department of Neurology -Developed and maintained a balanced scorecard for the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health, utilizing enterprise software Business Objects, Web of Science, NIH Reporter, and SharePoint platforms to pull necessary data trends and assist in the calculation of year end totals of the financial, customer, internal operations, and learning and growth perspectives; included gathering grant data for 100+ faculty members and assessing Press Ganey data at the individual provider and clinic levels -Executed quarterly productivity report summaries for the divisions of Epilepsy, Behavioral, and General Neurology to provide 28 clinicians with an update on their KPIs, collections rates, wRVUs, visits, and other metrics; resulted in identifying opportunities to increase clinic visits and decrease last minute cancellations by 37% -Generated social media networking accounts for the Fixel Institute, primarily developing a follower base and designing relevant, informative content to share; served as project lead for this endeavor as requested by Michael Okun, MD, Chair of Neurology -Co-authored Department of Neurology’s Strategic Review and Planning (SRP) document, representing the current and future organization and endeavors of the Neuromedicine Hospital and Fixel Institute; the SRP was initially requested by the Chief Science Officer of the McKnight Brain Institute and was successfully received and is now being used as the template for other departments -Assisted the department’s Human Resources Manager and Executive Director in identifying strengths and weaknesses of administrative assistant and administrative specialist candidates based on their CVs; restructured administrative assistant roles after analyzing current status and job responsibilities resulting in a cost savings of $60,000 while successfully hiring the administrative specialist role Show less
