I am responsible for providing a design service to the highest of standards for Laura Ashley. I attend design consultations with individuals at their homes to create a tailored service with concepts and designs suitable for their needs and requirements. I use my excellent interpersonal skills to make customers feel at ease in their homes and provide excellent, accurate service. This is essential as I am required to take layout, room and window measurements for our products. I have an extensive knowledge of Laura Ashley's ever changing products and use this knowledge to give the customer the best options available to them. I can provide advice and recommendations through this based on what the customer wants. After consultations I create moodboards, design schemes and quotes for the customer to review, query and alter before placing an order through myself, working to project deadlines and targets I am set by the company. I am required to feed back updates on visits and orders to my line manager and deliver presentations of progress. I also deliver training of the design service to the store staff I work with and have also trained new members of the design service to up skill them to the required levels. I am trained to a high level with IT and I'm proficient in the various software we use e.g. Emails, Cloud storage, Office and Google software. I am required to manage my own business diary amongst other office admin. My time-management skills are exemplary which is essential as I am working on multiple projects at a time from start to finish. Show less
