    • Event Marketer & Organiser
      • Sep 2019 - May 2020

Head of the integrated marketing campaign within a team of 5 for our final year live event project. We organised a safe and effective experiential activation based around reducing food waste. Along with two fundraising events. Securing a venue and prizes through liaising with stakeholders. We held a competition across social media and selected the top 6 entries to take part in a live cook off using surplus food. The winner would then take on a professional chef in the final. I contacted local press, bloggers and influencers to gain publicity. Two local newspapers and online sites such as Vibe and The Sheffield City Region Growth Hun published an article about the competition. Along with local food bloggers and influences such as @independetsheffield and @visitsheffield. I attended relevant events to network and distribute marketing materials. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the event got cancelled last minute. We were able to adapt the event and allow the semi finalists to compete from their own homes. Using social media to crown the #BeatTheSheff Champion. Show less

During first year of university we were given a brief and a location and tasked with creating an Experiential Marketing Event. Through tissue sessions with industry professionals we whittled down three ideas to one. We decided on a campaign to spread happiness called #SHUPickMeUp. We blew up balloons and inside each ballon was a motivational quote, a pick me up. Each quote had a matching printed out copy of the quote and we had pins to 'pin up your pick me up' as a constant reminder. We had a doughnut wall with free doughnuts an a personalised playlist playing uplifting music. The event involved creating digital content, creative thinking, budget management and interaction with the public. The campaign had various social media accounts and its own website check it out below. Show less
