My time as a cafe manager has definitely given me valuable transferable experience and skills to take into any job I have in the future. This involved training staff to a high standards, doing the weekly rota and being at solving any customer complains. In the summer of 2019 I worked Front of House for Pleasance Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe. This was an amazing experience - not only did I watch an outstanding amount of brilliant theatre, I also gained an insight into how a fringe festival works both front and back of house. This added to my experience in customer service and working closely with the public, ensuring their visit was as enjoyable and seamless as possible. also worked for 3 years, during my studies, at the Unicorn Theatre in London. This is one of the leading theatre's in London for children's theatre. I gained an immense amount of knowledge on how to run the front of house. It was valuable experience as I had to learn how to manage large audiences and school groups and get them into the theatre in a swift, timely manner. I also dealt with show stops, ticketing issues and customer complaints which made me have a proactive way of thinking, having to take charge and make quick, coherent decisions.
