A university-based project focused on Empowering Activity and crossing the bridge between movement and mental health. As co-founder and co-chair, I develop the brand, organise the budget, recruit and train volunteers, adhere to the legal and ethical guidelines of the university and develop online marketing strategies. I organise the volunteers and plan future events such as guest speakers and workshops. I secured free gym passes through liaising with The Gym Group's local gym. This role was focused on organising and coordinating an awards evening for 100 guests, including the young people GMYN work with, their family and carers, corporate partners, board members and trustees. Within the role, I lead the event planning within the team, as well as working up to 3 times a week as a Support Youth Worker in the summer programme.
