As editor, it is my responsibility to make sure that my 4-5 staff writers submit their weekly articles by deadline. I create weekly content based off of current events and campus news, which I turn into satirical headlines. I also help my writers through any creative slumps and keep them encouraged and motivated.

I worked at Charlotte Russe over the summer. I worked behind the register, as well as on the floor, where I made sure the store was neat and tidy. Efficiency and friendliness was emphasized at Charlotte Russe, and I learned a great deal about interacting with customers and fellow employees. Plus, the employee discount was a nice perk. Children's Section Page
-
Sep 2013 - Aug 2016
As a Page in the children's section of the library, I worked one-on-one with children and interacted daily with patrons. My responsibilities included assembling/disassembling programs, general office work, shelving books, completing paging slips, and maintaining the order and organization of the shelves. I gained experience doing library research. I also became well acquainted with children's literature, and the stories kids today are wild about.
