I had the privilege of collaborating closely with Emma for the past year in her role as Employability Lead for the Department of Life Sciences at Manchester Met University. With the support of the wider Life Science Employability Team colleagues, we successfully integrated employability into the curriculum and achieved ’highly commended’ recognition as finalists at the Man Met University Staff Awards. Emma's dedication to graduate success, coupled with her passion for Life Sciences, was truly inspiring. Working with Emma played a significant role in my growth as a careers practitioner. I wholeheartedly recommend Emma for her outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to empowering students and graduates.

Enthusiastic is the first word that comes to mind when I think about Emma. It was a huge pleasure working with Emma throughout my Masters especially during my final year project these past few months. Emma has been an incredibly helpful and dependable supervisor and lecturer. I was very impressed to see Emma handle and juggle various projects such as lectures, dissertations and extra curricular activities that were beneficial for future aspects relating not only to Biomedical Science but much more. I’ve closely worked with Emma for just under a year, but was more than enough to observe and admire her expertly fill her teaching and supervisor roles. Regardless of how tough things got, it was never a challenge for Emma to make sure tasks got completed but with a smile on everyone’s face. Any employee would be lucky to have Emma and she earns my highest recommendation.
