My new role included: Attending board meetings of Brian Marsh Enterprises and preparing the relevant papers and minutes. Meeting with the five investment managers of the Marsh Family Office quarterly, to review the investments, minuting these meetings and reporting back to the Chairman. Assisting the Chairman with choosing new suitable investments. Organising the activities and interest of the various members of the Marsh family and staff including organisation of travel, meetings, events and other queries. Processing tax returns for the Chairman, his Trusts and his children. This includes meeting with accountants and discussing the Trust and Settlement tax returns. Assisting the patriarch’s daughter in setting up a new curatorial company and filing the relevant documents on Companies House for her annually. Creating and maintaining a "Valuation of Assets Under Management" document for the Chairman and his family on a quarterly basis. This document shows the value of all the Marsh Family’s investments and how they have performed over the previous quarter. Instructing the bank and distributing payslips for the payroll of Brian Marsh Enterprises Ltd. Managing the Family Archive which dates back to 1840 and organising to have this archive scanned and made available online. This archive is based at the Chairman’s home in Kent and I visit the archive monthly and have responsibility for managing the archivist. Interviewing, hiring and managing various new members of staff including office juniors for B.P.Marsh & Partners Plc and a Marsh Family Office Assistant. In 2015 I was appointed as an executor of Mr Brian Marsh’s Will and meet with the other executors yearly to review the Letter of Wishes.
