  In Research Grant Finance I undertook jobs in the area of time recording claims, carrying out periodic claim reports using Teagasc' IT systems. Reviewing the status' of projects and conducting travel claims. I also took part in the reviewing of the project claims log and creating budget templates and a lot of my time focused on creating project summaries. I was included in a team meeting. I also reported my work back to the finance claims manager. I undertook filing, photocopying and printing as well as carrying out tasks for those in other Teagasc centres and sending out relevant work to them via email and post. In a time where I was doing tasks in which I found an easier way to complete them, I contacted colleagues in Teagasc centres via call to discuss the work. I was briefly given reception training within this time where I handled the booking and returning of company cars and helping the transfer of international calls between reception to colleagues within Moorepark.
