  My position was in the Adults & Children’s Finance team and I supported the Community Learning & Commissioning service unit. This unit had an annual gross expenditure budget of £77.6m of which I helped to be responsible for. Some of my tasks included the preparation of monthly budget monitoring statements, preparing and updating salary monitoring information, meeting with service managers to review budgets and to update the year-end forecasts. I also prepared and calculated budgets, helped to identify service growth/pressures and savings to be achieved.
