I think it is essential to be out there consistently selling and as a Co-Founder, I take responsibility for this and spend most of my time speaking with decision makers at emerging tech and big tech companies and exploring opportunities to work together in a capacity that is mutually beneficial and will drive sales. If I am not speaking with big tech companies, I am speaking with tier 1/2 banks, hedge funds, asset managers, venture capital or private equity companies in the United States that fund early stage startups. 1. I arrange 50 prospective podcast meetings per week: The reason I am able to arrange ten per day is because of Linkedin. I really love Linkedin and I've found that most people I connect with want to help Raion and they are open to speaking as long as you are sincere and not using it as a way to sell. My philosophy has always been to create value and never force relationships. 2. I run Laurence Cohens life: He never takes a day off and he can easily average 11-12 meetings per day. This is common, but he will only hold a meeting if he already knows what he needs the outcome to be. It is my job to act as quality control and ensure that LC only attends meetings that can lead to either A. Sales B. Partnerships C. Video content for marketing D. Helping super talented academics or Founders who either need a job or help with their startup. 3. I source and recruit up to 10 prospective hires per month: Now, I only source non-technical people but I use to recruit software developers and engineers also. In an average month I can hold 60+ phone interviews. Each interview lasts no more than 15 minutes and it is very scientific based i.e I'm investigating why you wouldn't be a good fit rather than determining if you would be a good fit. On the basis that I see potential, I am responsible for arranging a further interview with one of the other Co-Founders, either LC or Jan Dienstl. Show less
